Character Artist Bobbo Andonova very kindly let me use her lovely character concept art as reference for my first ever character sculpt. Just under a week before modelling this, I had never even used Zbrush before! But I wanted to expand my skill set and try my hand at organic digital modelling.
I still have loads to improve on, but I'm really happy with how far I've come so far. I have also been able to use this project to learn how to retopologize and tried out a new texturing/ painting technique. Looking back, there are plenty of things I could have improved on, but being efficient in my time management was also a skill I wanted to develop. Looking forward to more character modelling, and moving onto bodies!
